Any luck?

How are you doing on your points & most importantly, losing the pounds?

ok, I'll admit that I have struggled a lot with this so far, but I have cut down on my sweets intake and that has felt good. I think I have only lost about 2 pounds, though. But, hey, it's still 2 pounds. I try to drink a lot of water and watch my snacking.

I have lost several pounds as well. For me, I really think it has been the exercise and cutting down on sweets.

My mom mentioned that we should all run a 5K together. Is anyone else interested?

I did horrible this last week. No pound losing, only 50 pts. It is amazing how one disturbance in your life can set you off, but this next week I'm determined to do better. Gordon had surgery last Monday on just a pinky finger, but it ended up being bigger pins in it pain meds and a full arm cast, so of course that meant more work and just life adjustment. I'm back on track now starting today.

I haven't done everything as I would like to, but the best thing I have done is to increase my exercise. I have been going to Curves five days a week. I initially lost 5 lbs. and have kept off three. I am trying to drink lots of water as well. I get cravings that aren't good. I ate an almond Hersheys bar that I found in Johanna's room when I was cleaning it. It was old, but I didn't care I ate it all. Wow! I was sick not literally because it tasted good but just sick that I have so little self control. I'll just keep trying. This program is helping me. I love the support knowing all of you are trying to get healthier. Thanks.

Wow, it sounds like you guys are doing great, I'm still struggling this week, sort of in a rut, but I hope to get out soon, I did lose 2 pounds with possible food poisoning and haven't gained it back, so that is good.
